Trivia

Mariah Carey was scheduled to film a cameo. However, her scenes were never filmed. Will Ferrell recalled that Carey showed up four hours late, then didn't want to do the scene she had agreed to do. Carey then delayed production, as she didn't want to sing the song, one of her own, that she was supposed to sing. This would have required the legal department to clear the song. Carey also required her trailer to be filled with white flowers and stuffed animals of lambs. Carey's scene was ultimately not filmed. See more »

Goofs

Around 1:11:00 and 1:14:00 in the movie, a scene can be seen two times. It's the one where on can see the cop and counselor's car from behind, as they are going fast.

There is a black car on the left, a grey one on the right, and a white painting on the road. It's obvious this is one scene used twice. See more »

Awful........... Just AWFUL!
30 June 2017 | by See all my reviews

Lets get one thing straight, Will Ferrell is a comedy genius! However this movie sucked from start to finish. There is no LOL moments. The story was OK i suppose but the actual comedy in the film is lacking BIG TIME. Do not pay to go and see this movie you are wasting your money. Stay home with a big glass of scotch and watch anchorman on DVD. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
