Sex & Nudity
the film contains several scenes depicting nudity in a non-sexual context. Nudity is shown in scenes where Jewish prisoners are forced to strip naked or dead bodies are removed from the gas chambers. The scenes contain clear depictions of both male and female frontal nudity, with genitals visible.
The full frontal nudity depicted with moderate detail here is justified by context, and not excessive.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
Set in the Auschwitz concentration camp during World War II, this film is a drama revolving around Saul Ausländer, a Hungarian-Jewish prisoner assigned to a temporary-work unit at one of the Auschwitz Crematoriums. One day, he finds the body of a young boy who died in the gas chamber and takes it upon himself to give the boy a proper Jewish burial, risking the lives of everyone in the work unit.
