Roger Moore plays James Bond in a sketch the British spy goes on holiday, only to encounter Russian spy Sonia Sekova whom happens to also be on holiday. This is a strong foreshadowing of Roger Moore's future. 9 years after he played in James Bond in that sketch in the show, Roger Moore succeeded Sean Connery as the 3rd actor to play James Bond in Live and Let Die (1973). Roger Moore played James Bond for a record breaking 12 years and he played the part up until A View to a Kill (1985), which he was replaced by Timothy Dalton. See more
