there's a "coming out of the closet" joke.

Norm falls in love with a female polar bear, Elizabeth (who's barely in the movie). At the end of the movie, they have 3 cubs.

there's also a obvious puberty joke, as Norm says "As I grew up, my voice lowered and I grew fur".

one of the side characters in NYC is implied to be gay. he denies this.

the movie also has a few brief sexual innuendos scattered throughout.

The film contains some comic violence with a VERY mild sense of threat.

Examples include a scene where a seal is eaten up by a orca; a scene where the lemmings chew at an electrical cable and end up getting electrocuted; and a scene where Vera is caught by surprise when the arctic ice starts to crack rapidly and breaks up.

Norm and his grandpa are shot by tranquilizer darts and captured.

The film contains some use of mild language such as 'crap' and 'moron'.

MPAA:
Rated PG for mild rude humor and action
