Later the man who kills him claims to have no remorse because the man killed his wife. But when they check him they find out that he doesn't exist and neither did his wife. And when he tries to show them all the things he remembers like the hospital he was in, which turns out to be a convent. And the bank account he withdrew from which doesn't exist.
