Jerry Lewis, Legendary Entertainer and Host of Mda Telethon, Dead at 91

Jerry Lewis, who became a household name as one-half of legendary duo Martin & Lewis, has died at the age of 91.

In a statement attributed to Lewis’ family, the Las Vegas Review-Journal‘s John Katsilometes reports that Lewis died of natural causes on Sunday morning, surrounded by loved ones at his Las Vegas, Nev. home.

Lewis, an iconic comedian in his own right, first teamed with Dean Martin in 1946, becoming one of the most successful acts in the country before their highly publicized split in 1956. They appeared together in such films as My Friend Irma, The Caddy, The Stooge, Artists and Models and Pardners. »

Great News: Veep's Reid Scott Set to Recur During Season 2 of NBC Sitcom

This just in: Veep‘s sometime newsman has snagged a date with NBC’s Great News.

Reid Scott, who plays ex-CBS This Morning anchor Dan Egan on the Emmy-winning HBO series, has booked a recurring role on Season 2 of the NBC sitcom, EW.com reports.

Scott is set to play Jeremy, a reporter for The New York Times and a new love interest for Briga Heelan’s Katie Wendelson. He will first appear in Episode 4, then return for multiple episodes throughout the season.

As previously announced, Great News executive producer Tina Fey also will guest-star during Season 2 as Diana St. »

Lethal Weapon Season 2: Adrian Pasdar to Appear, Thomas Lennon to Return

Lethal Weapon is holding out for a Hero(es) alum: Adrian Pasdar will guest-star in the Fox series’ upcoming second season, TVLine has learned exclusively. 

Pasdar, whose recent TV credits include Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Colony and Supergirl, will play a “con artist grifter” who — in the episode’s opening scene — “ends up robbing these people in a private jet and winds up jumping out in a parachute,” show boss Matthew Miller tells TVLine.
