The Matrix Reloaded (2003)
The Oracle: [to Neo] We are all here to do what we are all here to do...

The Oracle: Do you see her die?
Neo: No.
The Oracle: You have the sight now, Neo. You are looking at the world without time.
Neo: Then why can't I see what happens to her?
The Oracle: We can never see past the choices we don't understand.
Neo: Are you saying I have to choose whether Trinity lives or dies?
The Oracle: No, you've already made the choice. Now you have to understand it.
Neo: No. I can't do that. I won't.
The Oracle: Well, you have to.
Neo: Why?
The Oracle: Because you're the One.

Neo: But if you already know, how can I make a choice?
The Oracle: Because you didn't come here to make the choice, you've already made it. You're here to try to understand *why* you made it. I thought you'd have figured that out by now.

The Oracle: So, let's get the obvious stuff out of the way.
Neo: You're not human, are you?
The Oracle: It's tough to get any more obvious than that.

The Oracle: It seems that every time we meet, I have nothing but bad news. I'm sorry about that, I surely am. But for what it's worth, you've made a believer out of me. Good luck, kiddo.

Neo: Are there other programs like you?
The Oracle: Oh, well, not like me. But... look, see those birds? At some point a program was written to govern them. A program was written to watch over the trees, and the wind, the sunrise, and sunset. There are programs running all over the place. The ones doing their job, doing what they were meant to do, are invisible. You'd never even know they were here. But the other ones, well, we hear about them all the time.
Neo: I've never heard of them.
The Oracle: Oh, of course you have. Every time you've heard someone say they saw a ghost, or an angel. Every story you've ever heard about vampires, werewolves, or aliens, is the system assimilating some program that's doing something they're not supposed to be doing.

Neo: I suppose the most obvious question is, how can I trust you?
The Oracle: Bingo. It is a pickle. No doubt about it. The bad news is there's no way if you can really know whether I'm here to help you or not, so it's really up to you. You just have to make up you on damned mind to either accept what I'm going to tell you, or reject it.

The Oracle: Candy?
Neo: Do you already know if I'm going to take it?
The Oracle: Wouldn't be much of an Oracle if I didn't.

Neo: Why are you here?
The Oracle: Same reason. I love candy.

Neo: What happens if I fail?
The Oracle: Then Zion will fall.

[about Merovingian]
Neo: What does he want?
The Oracle: What do all men with power want? More power.

The Matrix Revolutions (2003)
Trinity: Do you know what happened to Neo?
The Oracle: He is trapped in a place between this world and the machine world. All I can do is tell you that your friend needs your help. He needs all our help.

[last lines]
Seraph: Did you always know?
The Oracle: Oh, no. No, I didn't. But I believed... I believed.

The Oracle: What about the others?
The Architect: ...What others?
The Oracle: The ones that want out.
The Architect: Obviously they will be freed.
The Oracle: I have your word?
The Architect: What do you think I am? Human?

The Oracle: [smells freshly-baked cookies] Mmm, I love that smell. I sure am going to miss it.

The Architect: You played a very dangerous game.
The Oracle: Change always is.

Oracle: The great and powerful Oracle. We meet at last. I suppose you've been expecting me, right? The all-knowing Oracle is never surprised. How can she be, she knows everything. But If that's true, then why is she here? If she knew I was coming, why didn't she leave?
[sweeps plate of cookies off table]
Agent Smith: Maybe you knew I was going to do that, maybe you didn't. If you did, that means you baked those cookies and set that plate right there deliberately, purposefully. Which means you're sitting there also deliberately, purposefully.
Oracle: What did you do with Sati?
Agent Smith/Sati: Cookies need love like everything does.
Oracle: You are a bastard, you know that?
Agent Smith/Seraph: You would know, Mom.

The Oracle: Everything that has a beginning has an end. I see the end coming, I see the darkness spreading. I see death.

Morpheus: After everything that's happened, how can you expect me to believe you?
The Oracle: I don't expect you to do anything. I expect what I've always expected, for you to make up your own damn mind. Believe me or don't.

The Oracle: [referring to the Architect] Oh please! You and I may not be able to see past our own choices, but that man can't see past any choice!

The Matrix Online (2005) (VG)
The Oracle: Save your knuckles. You'll need them for other work.

The Oracle: Life's too short. That's not a prediction.

The Oracle: All finished out there, young lady?
Sati: Yes, Ma'am. But it's funny.
The Oracle: What's funny?
Sati: When I'm working, the sun doesn't stay put. It's jerky.
The Oracle: Guess there's a few glitches in the system yet, since the Smith business. Nothing ever goes right. Especially not peace.

Morpheus: Is this where he did it?
The Oracle: You might say, where I did it. You are what you eat, they say.
Morpheus: I suppose this is where you offer me a cookie.
The Oracle: I'll make the predictions around here.

The Oracle: You've worked all your life for this. You found a savior, trained him, guided him, and he did the impossible. The thing you dared dream of, when so many would not, could not.
Morpheus: We thought... I thought... we could win this war or lose it. If we won, yes, millions would die in their pods, but our days and years would be spent saving those we could, and reclaiming the surface. Instead, we have peace. Neo found a way to save them all. Why won't they give up his remains? They say they haven't recycled them! They belong in Zion, in a holy place! He saved us... he saved them... he saved saved the Matrix!
The Oracle: Sounds like you've found your purpose.
Morpheus: But is it right? Will I be successful?
The Oracle: One doesn't necessarily go with the other, does it?

The Matrix (1999)
Oracle: I'd ask you to sit down, but, you're not going to anyway. And don't worry about the vase.
Neo: What vase?
[Neo turns to look for a vase, and as he does, he knocks over a vase of flowers, which shatters on the floor]
Oracle: That vase.
Neo: I'm sorry...
Oracle: I said don't worry about it. I'll get one of my kids to fix it.
Neo: How did you know?
Oracle: Ohh, what's really going to bake your noodle later on is, would you still have broken it if I hadn't said anything?

Oracle: You're cuter than I thought. I can see why she likes you.
Neo: Who?
Oracle: Not too bright, though.

Oracle: OK, now I'm supposed to say, "Hmm, that's interesting, but... " then you say...
Neo: ..."but what?"
Oracle: But... you already know what I'm going to tell you.
Neo: I'm not The One.
Oracle: Sorry, kid. You got the gift, but it looks like you're waiting for something.
Neo: What?
Oracle: Your next life, maybe. Who knows? That's the way these things go.

Oracle: Do you know what that means?
[points to a banner]
Oracle: It means know thy self. I wanna tell you a little secret, being the one is just like being in love. No one needs to tell you you are in love, you just know it, through and through.

Enter the Matrix (2003) (VG)
Oracle: You must be Ghost?
Ghost: Who are you?
Oracle: I am the Oracle.
Ghost: If that's true, then what's my response to that postulate?
Oracle: Truth is an event, and only through experience can the veracity of a truth be verified.
Ghost: William James.

[Ghost leaves after he talks with the Oracle]
Ghost: Thank you.
Oracle: [about Trinity] Ghost, you still love her, don't you?
Ghost: As much as she loves another.
Oracle: That is a hard path to walk.
Ghost: Nietzsche said it best "One must want nothing to be different-not forward, not backward, not in all eternity. Not only bear what is necessary, but to love it."
Oracle: Armor fati. You're a good man, Ghost. If somehow we do survive, if the path does continue, I hope it is made by others like you.

Oracle: I can tell you that I only remember bits and pieces of my past. I don't remember your face, but I remember your heart. You asked me one question, if she would ever love you? I told you, only as a friend, as her brother. Yes, I remember that smile. I recall asking what you were thinking, but I can't remember what you said.
Ghost: I thanked you.
Oracle: Why?
Ghost: Because I felt freed.
Oracle: From what?
Ghost: Expectation.
